Short Description

Displays a customizable time stamp over a 2D sequence.

This book chapter proposes a video tutorial on the TimeStamp Overlay plugin (see tutorial 1). Images used in the tutorial are available on this Zenodo repository.

Documentation

Place your cursor over the TimeStamp’s text and type one of the following letters to change the display:

  • t : switch display from frame to time (using time scale)
  • +/- : increase / decrease font size
  • m : move time stamp to cursor location
  • k : remove time stamp

    Useful plugin =) It would be nice to have more settings (thinking about shadow for easier reading) and use the "custom panel" of Overlay to make them easily available (instead of using shortcuts)

    Very easy to use. It is unclear how to change the time interval though - Is there any way to do this? I would like it to be in minutes, not seconds.

      You can change the time interval in the Sequence metadata (you can edit them from the inspector). But maybe you just speak about the representation itself (for instance having "0.1 mn" instead of "6 s") ?
