Whenever I load a file, it is very slow when I play the timelapse back and forward. It was not like this before.
Thanks in advance,

This happen on first loading of your image, this is because now Icy is doing lazy loading so it will load image data only when data is actually required (you will notice that Icy open your timelaps images much faster than before). As soon data is loaded then consecutive access will be fast (so second playback is fast)… but we understand it can be annoying to have slow timelaps playback on start, it’s why we plan to add asynchronous prefetch (only for non volatile Sequence) in future version of Icy to improve that (that should be not too long hopefully).
In the meantime you can use the duplicate command (from Image/Sequence tab menu) and immediately close the duplicated sequence, the idea is to force data loading so the timelaps will play at normal speed after that.

yes, it is a bit annoying as I have large files but I can understand. I will follow your suggestion.
Thanks a lot for the quick reply,
