This plug-in provides a convenient way to visualize a 3D data set in a single 2D view, by assembling a montage of all individual slices into a large 2D montage map, while preserving the user's colormaps adjustments.
This type of viewer is particularly convenient on 3D time lapse data, where it becomes easy to see an object moving along Z within its environment over time, especially if it enters another object (which is harder to see using the 3D viewer
The number of rows / columns is automatically calculated such that the final aspect ratio is a landscape view as close as possible to a square.
