Hello,
I noticed that when I plot the speed profile of my tracks in track manager, the time legend keeps always the frames and it is not showing the real time in seconds. Even if it says Time(s), it is not true.
And secondly, do you know how can I set the timestamp in a specific unit? For example, I don want sometimes to have it in (ms). I prefer seconds or the opposite.
Thank you in advance,
Georgios
Stephane Dallongeville May 16, 2019 at 11:12 amHello,
Which track processor are you using to plot the speed profile ? Instant Speed track processor ? as this one doesn’t support displaying in time unit as far i know.
The timestamp plugin doesn’t offer the opportunity to choose which unit to use (it automatically selects it), that is something which can be added to the plugin though (cannot promise when).
Best,

Yes it is instant speed track processor. The problem is not to display in time.
If you see the plot that the processor gives you, there is a bug that in the x-axis. It tells you “Time(s)” but in reality it is frames. If you change the time interval, then you will see that the speed values will change (normal) but the time is always in frames despite it is written in the plot “Time(s)”. Even if you extract the results it is in frames.
Thank you in advance,
Georgios
Stephane Dallongeville May 16, 2019 at 3:30 pmOh yeah indeed, it just always give the time in frame unit, i think it does that to not deal with the time unit. It can be fixed to “second” as speed in given in µm/s though.

Stephane Dallongeville May 16, 2019 at 4:03 pmJust done, the unit is fixed to second and correctly reported both in plot display and in the excel file now 🙂
