    Hi,

    I have noticed that (default) saving a Tif file from Icy always results in smaller size than (default) saving it from ImageJ.

    I guess I could reproduce the same kind of compression using the “Save As…OME-Tif” from ImageJ, but I am really curious about which kind of compression I need to choose from this menu list.

    All I know is that it seems to be lossless since opening the newly Icy-saved tiff file with ImageJ gives me a file of uncompressed size.

    Hi,

    We indeed always use the LZW compression schem for OME-TIFF image files. It’s a lossless compression format so it doesn’t hurt to enable it 🙂
