    Hi,

    When I open a z-stack from a .lif project containing multiple z-stacks:

    1. The name in the metadata is correct. For a Project called Project001.lif with z-stack called “Condition1”, the name will be Project001 – Condition1, which is ok with me (for now).
    2. Yet, when typing Ctrl-S, the suggested name for saving is either “Project001” if only one stack is opened, or “Project001_S1” if multiple stacks from the same project are opened, instead of “Project001 – Condition1” as displayed in the metadata panel.

    Hi,

    Indeed the default filename is recovered from encoded internal filename (used for Metadata persistence) but i think we can change this behavior to use the internal name if it exists and if that doesn’t bring any trouble elsewhere 🙂
